What if my medical appointment runs longer than expected?
We understand that medical appointments can be unpredictable. If your appointment runs long, simply call our dispatch at 516-838-9693 to update us. We’ll adjust your pickup time accordingly. There’s no penalty for appointment delays—your health comes first.
Can a family member or caregiver ride along?
Absolutely. Family members or caregivers are welcome to accompany the passenger during the trip. Having a familiar face nearby can provide added comfort, reassurance, and peace of mind, especially for seniors and elderly clients.
Can you transport all types of wheelchairs?
Yes, our vehicles accommodate most wheelchair types including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and scooters. Our Braun hydraulic lifts have a generous weight capacity. If you have an oversized wheelchair or concerns, please mention it when booking so we can ensure the right vehicle.
Do you provide wheelchairs if we do not have one?
Yes. If the passenger requires a wheelchair but does not own one, please let our dispatch team know at the time of booking. We can provide a clean, standard wheelchair for the duration of the transport.
What does "door-to-door" service mean?
Unlike standard curbside taxi services, our drivers provide hands-on assistance. We will safely assist the passenger from inside their home or pick-up location, safely into the vehicle, and accompany them completely inside their final destination.
Can your vehicles accommodate heavy or oversized wheelchairs?
Yes, our modern fleet is equipped with heavy-duty hydraulic lifts capable of safely securing standard, bariatric, and motorized power wheelchairs.

If you have Medicaid, your non-emergency medical transportation may be covered. You’ll need to contact your Medicaid managed care plan to arrange transportation or get prior authorization. We work with most Medicaid plans in New York and can help guide you through the process.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept Medicaid (through managed care plans), Medicare (as a secondary payer in some cases), Workers’ Compensation, private insurance, major credit cards, and private pay. We can also work with facilities on corporate accounts.

We accept all major credit cards, private pay, and checks. We also set up direct invoicing for established corporate accounts and healthcare facilities.

Safety & General Questions
Is there a wait time policy?
For most medical appointments, we include reasonable wait time in your service. For longer waits (dialysis, chemotherapy, etc.), we offer round-trip service where the driver returns to pick you up. We’ll work with you to find the most cost-effective solution.
How do you ensure the safety and cleanliness of your vehicles?
Our fleet undergoes strict daily inspections and preventative maintenance. Furthermore, every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each transport to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Are your drivers trained and certified?
Yes. Every driver undergoes a rigorous background check, routine drug screening, and comprehensive training. They are fully certified in Defensive Driving, CPR, First Aid, and specialized patient handling.
